When my wife went to the hairdresser, I expected her to return with her hair dyed, covering the gray. Over time, her gray hairs began to show, and I’ll admit, it was something I struggled with. I wanted her to appear “young” and vibrant, but she had a different vision. When she sent me a selfie after her appointment, my initial reaction was disappointment. Her gray hair was still visible, and I couldn’t understand why she chose to keep it that way.
However, what I’ve come to realize has completely changed my perspective. I’ve learned not only to embrace her choice but also to love and appreciate her more deeply.
